The Clariantix Assessment Methodology™

A structured, evidence-based methodology that produces a defensible AI Trust Score™ and a complete set of executive deliverables.

8 min readAssessment Methodology

Ten Assessment Domains

The assessment evaluates AI posture across ten governance, security, privacy, compliance, and operational domains designed to align with AIDA, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001.

Evidence-Based Scoring

Each response is supported by evidence — policies, controls, inventories, and incident records — so the AI Trust Score™ reflects what is actually in place, not aspiration.

Stakeholder Participation

Assessments are completed by the people accountable for the controls: executives, security, privacy, legal, compliance, and AI product owners.

Question Weighting

Questions are weighted by domain criticality and regulatory impact, ensuring the AI Trust Score™ reflects material risk rather than checklist depth.

AI Trust Score™ Calculation

Domain scores roll up into a single AI Trust Score™ on a 0–100 scale, with a maturity classification from Initial to Optimized.

Report Generation

On completion, Clariantix produces the full executive deliverable set: Executive Briefing™, Board Summary™, Risk Register™, Compliance Gap Analysis™, and Remediation Roadmap™.

Continuous Improvement

Assessments are designed to be re-run as the AI portfolio evolves, so the AI Trust Score™ becomes a living indicator of governance maturity.

Process

The assessment moves through a structured lifecycle from discovery to leadership.
